Kamil Stoch on the podium in Klingenthal!

Kamil Stoch was the first Polish ski jumper to reach the podium in the World Cup. The athlete from Zęb finished third in Klingenthal, Germany, only 0.1 points ahead of Halvor Egner Granerud. Stefan Kraft won the Saturday competition.

After a poor start of the season by the Polish ski jumpers and an average result in the competitions in Wisła, coach Michal Dolezal decided that only four white-red ski jumpers will travel to Klingenthal. While Dawid Kubacki and his team were working out in Ramsau, Austria – Kamil Stoch, Piotr Zyla, Pawel Wasek and Aleksander Zniszczoł were fighting for World Cup points.

Kraft was first and had a big advantage after the first round and managed to keep it! 130 meters was enough for Granerud (Austria) and he was the second, followed by Stoch!
