New Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland

“Hello Poland, dear Poles! We have come with full determination to work to strengthen the Ukrainian-Polish friendship,” Vasyl Zvarych, who will take up the post of Ukraine’s ambassador to Poland, wrote on Twitter on Sunday. He thanked the Polish people for their solidarity and support.

“Hello Poland, dear Poles! We came with full determination to work 24/7 to strengthen the Ukrainian-Polish friendship! Together with Poland, we are stronger and together we will surely win! Thank you for your solidarity and support of Ukraine,” Zvarych tweeted.

Zvarych will replace Andrii Deshchytsia as Ukraine’s ambassador to Poland. Deshchytsia, who began his diplomatic mission in Poland in November 2014, was supposed to finish it in February this year, but his term was extended due to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Vasyl Zvarych has already worked at the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw in the past.
