    President Andrzej Duda Commends Polish Military Service Ahead of Easter

    President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, convened at the 1st Airlift Base in Warsaw with the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense, soldiers, and military personnel, emphasizing the significance of military service for national security, particularly as Easter approaches.

    In the past two years, the importance of military service for Poland’s security has been unequivocally understood by all citizens, transcending political affiliations. President Duda expressed satisfaction in the modernization efforts and strengthening of the Polish army, regardless of political colors.

    The meeting commenced with a minute of silence in memory of two sappers from the 5th Tarnogórska Chemical Regiment who lost their lives during training in Solarna. President Duda underscored the inherent risks soldiers undertake daily in their service to the nation.

    Acknowledging Polish troops serving abroad, President Duda paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in peacekeeping missions, highlighting their dual role in safeguarding both foreign populations and Poland’s security interests.
