First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda continued her annual tradition of visiting the children at the Society of Friends of Children (TPD) center in Warsaw’s Mokotów district. The visit took place in the festive atmosphere of the community center, where children were busy decorating handmade ornaments and sharing stories of their favorite Christmas traditions, such as caroling, crafting decorations, and unwrapping gifts under the tree.
During her visit, the First Lady listened attentively as the children eagerly asked about her favorite holiday customs, Christmas dishes, and the cherished tradition of decorating the Presidential Palace’s Christmas tree with her family each year.
The TPD center on Mokotów supports children from disadvantaged backgrounds, including families facing poverty, educational challenges, or disability. It provides a safe space with meals, academic support, and activities like workshops and sports.
