Foreigners’ Integration Centre to Be Established in Piotrków Trybunalski. PiS Politicians Oppose the Idea!

PiS (Law and Justice) MPs encouraged the residents of Piotrków Trybunalski to sign a petition for a referendum to dismiss the city mayor and council. They also expressed strong opposition to the establishment of a Foreigners’ Integration Centre in the city.

A signature collection is currently underway in Piotrków Trybunalski for two referendum-related notifications. The first concerns opposition to the creation, construction, and operation of a Foreigners’ Integration Centre, as well as the relocation of illegal migrants to the city. The second pertains to the dismissal of the city council and the mayor of Piotrków Trybunalski, Juliusz Wiernicki.

On Friday, PiS MPs Mariusz Błaszczak, Janusz Kowalski, Mariusz Gosek, and local MP Anna Milczanowska visited Piotrków Trybunalski.

“The migration crisis in Poland is real. It’s the result of Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s submissive policy towards Germany,” said Błaszczak. “I was at the Polish-German border, in Słubice, where I spoke with Polish patriots from the Border Protection Movement. I also talked with border guards and local residents. The picture is clear – Germany is dumping illegal migrants into Poland.”

He added that many of the migrants being transferred from Germany are of unknown origin and came to Europe not to work but to exploit Western Europe’s social benefits. “We don’t know the exact route they took to get to Germany, but the German authorities are directing them to Poland because Donald Tusk’s government accepts them. This must stop.” – emphasized the PiS parliamentary leader.

He also stated that the Border Protection Movement, led by Robert Bąkiewicz, is documenting all instances of migrant transfers from Germany to Poland. As a result of these published materials, “Donald Tusk was forced to reinstate border controls on the Polish side.”

“But the fundamental question remains: will this border control be effective in the face of German services pushing illegal migrants into Poland? I argue that it won’t be,” added the MP.

He reminded the public that the PiS parliamentary group submitted a draft law obliging the Council of Ministers to establish a list of countries whose citizens would be banned from entering Poland. He explained that the list would focus on countries from which the most so-called “engineers” are being pushed from Germany into Poland. He also stated that PiS is against the EU migration pact and against creating Foreigners’ Integration Centres.

“Such a centre is planned for Piotrków, among other places. Do you want something like this operating here? Do you want – especially women – to be afraid to go out after dark? These centres, filled with illegal migrants, will become no-go zones for police. That’s what’s already happening in Western Europe,” warned Błaszczak.

He urged residents of Piotrków Trybunalski to sign the referendum petition if they don’t want their city to share the fate of Western European cities.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Piotrków Trybunalski stated that no centre for illegal migrants will be established in the city. He emphasized that the foreigners currently living in Piotrków are legally employed in local logistics, manufacturing, service, and agricultural businesses, and that their presence supports the local labour market.
