    Historic Bronze for Poland at European Junior Badminton Championships  

    Poland’s junior badminton team secured a historic bronze medal at the European Junior Team Badminton Championships in Ibiza, Spain. This remarkable achievement marks Poland’s first team medal in this age group since the 1990s, cementing a pivotal moment for the sport in the country. The Polish team clinched their podium spot after an intense quarterfinal victory against Germany, winning 3-1.  

    Drawn into Group 3, Poland faced Latvia, Slovakia, and Bulgaria in the preliminary round. The team displayed dominance, sweeping Latvia 5-0, defeating Slovakia 4-1, and narrowly edging Bulgaria 3-2. These impressive performances earned Poland the top spot in their group and a place in the knockout stage. 

    The semifinals saw Poland take on France in a fiercely contested match. Despite a strong start and early wins, the Polish team fell short, losing 3-2 to the eventual finalists. France advanced to face Denmark in the championship match, leaving Poland to savour their hard-fought bronze medal.
