Leftist groups attack TV Republika journalists: “F*** off, you b****, how much are they paying you?”

In Warsaw, during a counter-demonstration by leftist groups, journalists from TV Republika were attacked. One individual present at the scene struck the station’s cameraman.

Across Poland today, “Stop Immigration” demonstrations are taking place. In Warsaw’s Plac Defilad, hundreds gathered to protest the migration policies of Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government.

At the same time, a relatively small counter-demonstration organised by left-wing and far-left circles was held, including individuals such as Linus Lewandowski from Homokomando and the provocateur Katarzyna Augustynek, aka Grandma Kasia.

When TV Republika journalist Wojciech Szymczak attempted to speak with participants of the counter-demonstration, the station’s crew was attacked.

“Please leave, you’re a bad person,” repeated one protester into the microphone held by Szymczak.

Meanwhile, another counter-demonstrator struck the station’s cameraman while shouting vulgar language before quickly walking away.

“Republika belongs in the trash,” began chanting the left-wing activists.

Moments later, another man struck Szymczak’s microphone. “I told you to f*** off, b****. How much are they paying you for this hate, how much are they f***ing paying you?” he shouted at the journalist.

Further attempts to conduct interviews were met only with chants of “Republika belongs in the trash” from the counter-demonstrators.

Shortly thereafter, another protester stuck a sticker on the journalist. When asked about the reason for his actions, he replied:

“So that you understand that you are fascists. You are promoting fascism.”

Soon after, TV Republika journalists were separated from the counter-demonstrators by a police cordon.
