Nikola Horowska, the Polish track and field star, secured her second gold of the event, triumphing in the 200-meter sprint. Just days after her victory in the long jump, she once again stood atop the podium, showcasing her remarkable versatility and determination.
A Historic Moment
Horowska’s achievement wasn’t the only highlight of the day. Marlena Granaszewska, also representing Poland, secured a silver medal in the 200-meter final. The two athletes’ success marked a historic moment as two Polish women shared the podium, embodying the nation’s prowess in athletics.
The success story continued with Dawid Piłat, a hammer thrower, clinching a bronze medal. Despite a valiant effort, Piłat faced tough competition from Decio Andrade of Portugal, settling for third place.
