The Body Shop exits Poland after 30 years, offering final sales and urging customers to use loyalty points by January 26, 2025.
After more than 30 years in Poland, The Body Shop has announced it will cease operations in the country. Both physical stores and the online shop will close in the coming weeks, marking the last chance for customers to purchase products from the popular cosmetics brand.
Store Closures and Loyalty Program Changes
The online store will shut down on January 26, 2025, which is also the end date for the Love Your Body Club loyalty program. Sales will continue at select locations, including Galeria Krakowska, Centrum Handlowe Serenada, Silesia City Center, and Forum Gdańsk, until that date.
All remaining physical stores will close by February 22, 2025. Customers are encouraged to use their loyalty points and redeem gift cards before these deadlines.
Reasons Behind the Decision
Although The Body Shop did not disclose specific reasons for its exit, market speculation points to global strategic shifts or challenges adapting to the evolving Polish cosmetics market.
Final Sales and Discounts
In light of the closure, The Body Shop is offering discounts of up to 70%. This presents an opportunity to stock up on popular skincare, haircare, and fragrance products.
