“We can only feel sorry for a Prime Minister who is lost and increasingly detached from reality. Not long ago he was in the second carriage; today he is standing alone on an empty platform, from which the train departed long ago,” said Rafał Leśkiewicz, spokesperson for President Karol Nawrocki, responding to a post by Donald Tusk in which he attacked the head of state.
On Easter Monday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted a message on X referring to politicians from Law and Justice and President Karol Nawrocki. He accused them of wanting to “drag Poland into a war in the Middle East.” “You could use a bucket of cold water over your heads, not only today,” he added.
Representatives of the Presidential Palace responded to the prime minister’s activity. “D. Tusk is attacking President K. Nawrocki with pathetic lies even during the holidays,” said Adam Andruszkiewicz, deputy head of the president’s chancellery. In his view, Tusk is “frightening Poles with war at their Easter tables.”
“This man is obsessed; he cannot go even two holiday days without inciting hostility. Man, enjoy time with your loved ones and let Poles have some peace,”
he said.
Rafał Leśkiewicz, spokesperson for the President of Poland, also joined the discussion. “Donald Tusk has decided to use the holiday atmosphere to spread further manipulations on social media,” he assessed. According to him, it is clear that the head of government “simply does not know how else to spend Easter.”
“We can only feel sorry for a Prime Minister who is lost and increasingly detached from reality. Not long ago he was in the second carriage; today he is standing alone on an empty platform, from which the train departed long ago,”
he declared.
It is worth adding that the prime minister’s post is also being widely commented on by ordinary internet users. They point out that the online activity of the leader of the Civic Coalition may be an attempt to divert attention from the pedophilia-and-zoophilia scandal in Kłodzko, in which a former activist of his political grouping is allegedly involved.
