    US crashes drone in Black Sea after damage from Russian jet, confirmed by Pentagon

    Since the beginning of the Russian invasion Ukraine has been applying to join the European Union. Last June, the European Council officially granted the country candidate status. Today, EU Affairs Minister Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk announced that a bilateral initiative for Ukraine’s integration into the EU is to be established which will operate on two levels: working and political. 

    Polish consumers say they are finding it harder and harder to make ends meet, as inflation soars to its highest point in over a quarter of a century and households are faced with sharply higher prices for food and energy.

    Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki held political consultations with Latvian and Icelandic heads of government Krisjanis Karins and Katrin Jakobsdottir in Warsaw today. Both talks focused on issues related to the war in Ukraine and the consequences of Russia’s aggressive policies.

    A Russian fighter jet damaged a US Air Force drone over the Black Sea. As a result, the unmanned drone worth 65 million dollars was damaged and crashed into the water. The US Air Force issued a statement accusing the Russian pilot of acting in a “reckless, unreasonable and unprofessional manner”.
