On July 1, Poland will take over the annual presidency of the Visegrad Group. During this period, negotiations will take place between the United Kingdom and the European Union on the shape of future relations and probably negotiations on the future EU budget for 2021-2027. Poland will want to use this period to demonstrate Central European solidarity in the face of difficult talks on the EU financial framework, future EU enlargement and negotiations with the United Kingdom. It will also be a period of intensive legislative work in the European Commission on the EU climate policy. The work on the final presidency program is still undergoing. Event proposals have recently been sent to the capitals of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. 2021 will also have symbolic significance for V4. During the Polish Presidency, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava and Budapest will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Visegrad Group.
