    Poczta Polska resumes international shipments

    From Wednesday, the possibility of sending parcels to Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay and Brazil was launched, Poczta Polska (Polish Post Office) announced on Wednesday.

    The Polish Post added that due to difficulties on European roads and restrictions in the work of operational services of postal operators in Poland and abroad, delays in the delivery of shipments sent to the aforementioned countries are expected. Earlier, Poczta Polska had already restored sending economic letters to Italy, Austria, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, priority and economic letters and packages to Estonia and Finland, as well as economic letters and packages to Ireland. The ability to send international shipments to Ireland, Australia and the United Kingdom has also been restored. The scope of services has been expanded to include priority parcels sent to Ukraine, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania and Latvia. On March 14th, Poczta Polska announced the suspension of accepting all parcels to other countries due to the epidemic. The company employs over 80,000 employees, has a network of over 7,500 branches and postal agencies.
