The health care system in Poland is approaching its capacity. The government is introducing new restrictions. According to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, social distancing is the only way to avoid a full stop of the economy. However, today’s message is that the next lockdown is a matter of time.
“The last step in the battle against the epidemic is ahead of us, and we may implement it in 7 to 14 days, if necessary. Hopefully, we may be able to avoid this, but it depends on whether we maintain discipline or adhere to the basic principles that the medical community has been telling us about since the beginning of the pandemic. Distance, wearing masks, continuous hand disinfection, as well as washing of hands and faces. These are very important recommendations, maybe even orders.” said Prime Minister Morawiecki today.
