Poland – Hungary at the national stadium in Warsaw today

Although this is the last match in the group, it is not the end of the World Cup qualification for the Poles. For Paulo Sousa, this is a very important meeting in the context of building a team for the playoffs.

Polish players after Friday’s 4:1 win over Andorra can prepare for the spring playoffs because they are second in Group I, three points behind England. However, the vice-champions of Europe will play today against the weakest team of the world ranking – San Marino, while the red-and-white team will play with the Hungarians in Warsaw.

Kamil Glik and Robert Lewandowski will not play today in the final group stage qualifier for the World Cup in Qatar against Hungary in Warsaw, PZPN (Polish Football Association) announced. In addition to Lewandowski and Glik, Grzegorz Krychowiak will be paused due to yellow cards.
