    New data. Ciarka: 12 Polish officers injured in today's events at the border

    – In today’s events at the border 12 officers of the Polish services were injured – 9 police officers, 2 border guards, and one soldier – said Mariusz Ciarka, spokesman for the Chief of Police. Earlier reports said that 7 officers were injured.

    Today on the Polish-Belarusian border at the Kuźnica-Bruzgi crossing dangerous events took place, in which – as reported this evening by the Chief of Police’s spokesperson – a total of 12 officers of Polish services were injured. 

     

    “At the moment, the balance of the injured is 12 people. That’s nine policemen and policewomen, two border guards, and one soldier. The injuries are different. As far as police officers are concerned, they have primarily head, arms, legs injuries. Dangerous objects were flying towards the officers – sett, stones, metal parts, branches, but also tear gas and stun grenades,” said Insp. Mariusz Ciarka on TV Republika.
