The UK stands in solidarity with Poland over the migrant crisis

The meeting between the Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak and UK Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace has started today. The subject of talks between Polish and British Heads of Defence Ministries was, among others, the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border and military cooperation.

“The document signed today is a very good sign of the Polish-British cooperation. I would like to thank Great Britain for its commitment, especially in face of the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border,” said Minister Mariusz Blaszczak.

“Great Britain declared its help through the involvement of engineering troops on the border with Belarus. Thank you for your quick response – the reconnaissance group was with us already on November 11,” added.

“The Polish border is sealed and it will be sealed. Despite hybrid attacks, we will keep Poland safe. I hope that the British engineering military company will begin its border service later this month. Polish soldiers serve side by side with British soldiers,” was written on Twitter.
