    The USA supports Poland

U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan spoke with National Security Bureau chief Paul Soloch on Wednesday. As reported by the White House, he conveyed Washington’s strong support in the face of the Lukashenko regime’s actions on the border. The presidents’ advisors also discussed the situation in Ukraine.

“[Sullivan] conveyed strong support for Poland in the face of the Lukashenka regime’s actions that created a migration crisis on Poland’s border with Belarus. They also exchanged views on Russian military activities near Ukraine and committed to continued close consultation,” reported White House National Security Council Spokesperson Emily Horne in a release.

Horne added that during a phone conversation with the BBN chief, President Biden’s adviser “emphasized strong bilateral cooperation on defence issues and welcomed ongoing efforts to strengthen NATO’s deterrence posture”.

Last week, the same topics were discussed by the heads of Polish and American diplomacy, Zbigniew Rau and Antony Blinken. Blinken also expressed solidarity with Poland at that time and condemned the actions of the Belarusian regime.
