We are dealing with actions that are organized by Belarusian services with Russian support.
The crisis on our border with Belarus is strictly political, created by Lukashenko’s regime with the use of many Belarusian institutions, including the uniformed and special services. These actions have been supported by the Kremlin from the beginning. We do not doubt that a migratory route is just a tool in the political actions of a hostile state against Poland and, more broadly, the EU and NATO.
These actions are part of the strategic goals of Russian politics against the West. The Kremlin’s actions are focused on paralyzing NATO and lead to a breakdown in unity within the structures of both the Alliance and the EU. Russia is trying to weaken the Alliance, in particular its eastern flank, to strengthen its position and dominate our region.
We are dealing with actions that are organized by Belarusian services with Russian support. This hybrid attack is part of the Kremlin’s aggressive policy against NATO. All the more reason, then, a tough stance at our border is a must.
We cannot and will not accept Poland being terrorized by a migration route organized by a hostile country. The migration route is only a tool to achieve the objectives which are harmful to Poland and our region.
