    T-AP DGT Call 2023: Five Polish research teams receive over 3.5 million PLN in an international competition

    Five research teams from Poland have been awarded over 3.5 million PLN in the international Democracy, Governance and Trust competition, organized by the Trans-Atlantic Platform for Social Sciences and Humanities (T-AP). This platform, established by funding organizations across the Americas, Europe, and Africa, promotes research collaboration across borders, highlighting the importance of social sciences and humanities in addressing 21st-century challenges.

    Award-Winning Projects

    The awarded Polish projects cover a range of timely topics. Dr. Agnieszka Ewa Kampka from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences leads a study on urban participation’s impact on democracy and governance. Another project, led by Dr. Zuzanna Brunarska of the University of Warsaw, focuses on Russian migrant communities post-Ukraine invasion. Other notable projects include research on digital technology’s role in fostering trust, the intersection of science diplomacy with global governance, and managing risks in innovation policy.

    These projects highlight the significant contributions of Polish researchers to global academic discourse, fostering international collaboration.
