    Israel's ambassador on the war with Confederation

    The Izraeli ambassador to Poland, Alexander ben Zvi, has once again accused the politicians of the Confederation party of anti-Semitism. In their response they stated that such words are unacceptable, and the ambassador is stepping beyond his diplomatic role.

    This was a day of twists and turns regarding the issue of the Supreme Audit Office president, Marian Banaś. Around 3pm yesterday, an announcement was published on the website of the state institution, which stated that Banaś does not intend to resign. Shortly thereafter, the Central Anti-corruption Bureau informed the Polish Press Agency that they are patiently waiting for the result of the investigation. During a press conference taking place yesterday afternoon, the Marshal of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, said that she is still waiting for Marian Banaś to resign from his post.

    Johnson goes for victory

    Parliamentary elections in the United Kingdom are to take place on December 12. The polls indicate that the Conservative party, led by Borish Johnson, are favourites to win. However, according to political analysts, the Tories cannot be certain of getting the majority which would allow them to put a definite end to the issue of Brexit.

    Questions about Banaś

    The Polish government spokesman has announced that prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki became familiar with the Central Anticorruption Bureau report on the investigation of the president of the Supreme Audit Office, Marian Banaś. The opposition demands that the report be made public. The Central Anticorruption Bureau was probing the financial statement filed by the president of the Supreme Audit Office.

    Grodzki's case

    The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau is conducting an investigation after a criminal complaint against the Marshal of the Senate, Tomasz Grodzki was filed by the councillor of the Law and Justice party, Karol Guzikiewicz. Grodzki strongly denied all the accusations and announced that he will go to court.

    Confirmed coalition

    The coalition deal between Law and Justice, United Poland and Agreement parties has been finalised. The signing of the agreement by Jarosław Kaczyński, Zbigniew Ziobro and Jarosław Gowin was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Law and Justice party, Anita Czerwińska.
