The major goal of the prestigious Success of the Year in Health Protection competition is to select leaders, i.e. individuals and entities that set top standards in health protection. For her achievements from last year, General Manager at Angelini Pharma Polska, Agnieszka Leszczyńska received the prestigious Success of the Year in Health Protection award.
The distinction was awarded for activities in the area of supporting doctors and specialists, especially psychiatry and neurology.
“I am very proud of the award that went to Angelini Pharma Polska. For our entire team, introducing modern therapies to the market is not only: cooperation with medical experts in a given field – it is spreading knowledge about the effectiveness and action of the drug and applying for reimbursement to ensure patients have access to the drug, but above all, dialogue with the patient.”,
said Agnieszka Leszczyńska, President of the Management Board of Angelini Pharma Polska.
The purpose of the competition was to select and reward people and entities that have particularly distinguished themselves in Polish medicine in the last year. Agnieszka Leszczyńska was appreciated for her activity in the area of supporting modern therapies as well as doctors and specialists in the field of psychiatry and neurology.
“We try to build awareness that with modern treatment, a patient can lead the same life as a healthy person (start a family, be professionally and socially active), destigmatize diseases (especially mental or neurological ones), encourage the patient to actively participate in life. I am very happy that our efforts have been noticed.”,
she adds.
In the competition “Success of the Year 2022 in Health Care – Medicine Leaders” a total of 30 people were awarded in 10 categories. The winners included both representatives of public and private medical facilities (in the manager category) and leaders in individual fields (innovative hospital, public health, charity, media and public relations).
The Personality of the Year in Medicine was Dr. n. med. Andrzej Mądrala, member of the Council of Employers of Poland, President of Employers of Private Medicine, Vice-president of the National Association of Private Hospitals, Vice-president of the Supervisory Board of the Mavit Medical Center.
