Residents of social welfare homes will be able to meet their families from Monday, informed the spokesman of the Municipal Family Assistance Center in Szczecin. Meetings will take place in the gardens at the facilities.
“From Monday, March 15, the possibility of meeting families will be restored in all communal nursing homes. Initially, visits will be possible mainly in the gardens,” said Maciej Homis, spokesman of the Municipal Family Assistance Center in Szczecin.
As he noted, limiting visits by families of Nursing Home residents was one of the measures recommended by sanitary services to increase the safety of seniors during a pandemic. “This is an exceptionally difficult situation for the residents of the institutions and their relatives,” said Homis. He added that the easing of restrictions is related to the vaccination campaign.
Families wishing to visit relatives should contact the appropriate social welfare home in advance and make an appointment.
