The 67th Wisła Rally started this afternoon in the very centre of the Beskid capital. The crews have 10 asphalt special stages with a total length of 110.9 km to cover, while the entire rally route is almost 300 km long.
This year’s edition of the popular Wisła Rally is not only included in the Polish Rally Championship and the MOTUL Historic Polish Rally Championship but also is a round of the Southern Rally Championship as well as the Silesian Rally Championship.
The start of the competition took place at 4.00 PM at Hoff Square in Wisła. From the starting ramp, the crews set off on the first of two Friday stages. Both consisted of the Dobka-Partecznik (10.3 km) and Kubalonka (4.2 km) special stages. No service was provided between the stages and the entire Friday stage is 36.9 km long.
On the other hand, for Saturday, 1 October, the organisers from Automobilklub Śląski have prepared two attempts, each covered three times. The individual stages will open with the longest special stage in the rally, Laliki (18.3 km), after which the drivers and pilots will compete for the best times on the Istebna section (8.6 km). The third run of the Istebna special stage will be held as an extra-scoring Power Stage. The service park returns to Istebna, specifically to the Hotel Zagroń complex. The end of the competition is scheduled for Saturday from 4.28 PM at Hoff Square in Wisła where the trophies will be awarded.
