Caritas of the Archdiocese of Kraków donated to the hospital Żeromski 100 thousand zlotys for the purchase of a respirator – the organisation said on Friday.
Caritas spokesman of the Archdiocese of Kraków, Agnieszka Homan explained that the amount was collected thanks to donors who responded to the call for support for health service. Funds were accumulated in just over a week. However, the collection is not completed – at the moment funds are being raised to support subsequent medical facilities. Homan reminded that employees and volunteers constantly help poor seniors by providing them with packages of food and cleaning products, and the Kitchen of Saint Brother Albert gives meals to those in need. These activities also require support.
