USA in Turmoil After Attempt on Trump’s Life: “Pro-Trump Reactions Emerge on the Streets. People Aren’t Afraid”

Jacek Kurski, currently in the United States, commented on the recent events following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life. Speaking to Telewizja Republika, Kurski emphasized the strong consolidation happening across the country.

Last Saturday, during an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, an assassination attempt was made on Donald Trump. Shots were fired at the presidential candidate, with one bullet grazing his ear. The FBI reported that the assailant was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, a resident of Pennsylvania. The attack resulted in two fatalities, including Crooks, and left two others seriously injured.

Jacek Kurski, a politician from Poland’s Law and Justice party, currently in the U.S., shared his perspective on Telewizja Republika.

“We were mere millimeters away from a global crisis. The President of the United States holds the most important elected position in the world. If Trump hadn’t turned his head to present data and charts prepared by his team, the bullet would have hit the back of his head instead of his ear,” Kurski commented.

“Providence must have been watching over Donald Trump. The almost certain winner of the presidential race could have lost his life, plunging the country into chaos and possibly teetering on the brink of civil war,” he added.

Katarzyna Gójska asked how the situation currently looks in the United States.

“There is strong consolidation. I am in Maryland, a predominantly Democratic state where nearly 70% of people vote for Democrats. Yet, I see strong pro-Trump reactions on the streets. People have stopped being afraid,” Kurski responded. Meanwhile, according to the Associated Press, Donald Trump has secured enough votes to officially become the Republican candidate for President.

The aftermath of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump has sparked significant reactions and movements within the U.S., showcasing a nation at a critical juncture.
