Israel’s retaliatory airstrikes on the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip are continuing. 200 targets have been hit. At least 770 Gaza residents have already been killed and more than 4,000 wounded in Israeli airstrikes. According to the UN, more than 200 people have had to leave their homes. The situation is also tense in north Israel near the border with Lebanon, where there have been exchanges of fire with Hamas-supporting Shiite Hezbollah.
