Kluby Gazety Polskiej or Gazeta Polska clubs are the biggest conservative organizations in Poland with several thousand members of over three hundred clubs scattered over dozens of countries. This year’s annual gathering is the 15th such event in a row. Every year this is an opportunity to discuss critical issues concerning Poland’s future with fellow patriots and key figures of the conservative movement in Poland. Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of Law and Justice was the main guest today.
“The elections which are ahead of us are very important. It is not only about who will be president, but also if we will be able to continue the changes we began implementing almost 5 years ago. It is not like all the changes we’ve made cannot be reversed. We need to make sure that Poland is improved in such a way that it would be impossible to reverse it. This requires many investments and undertakings, but also new people. Of course, we have a wonderful team, but we still need more people to perfect all the areas of the functioning of the state”, stated the leader of the ruling Law and Justice party, Jarosław Kaczyński at the online conference.
“These elections will shape our country. Given our country’s political mechanisms, if the opposition wins then they will most certainly block the works of the United Right’s government in the Senate, as they are doing now since they have a majority there, but also with their president. This would mean that any goals of this government to ensure that Poland’s interests are taken care of would be disrupted. (FLASH) We want to have a Poland which is capable of defending the weak and doesn’t have to fear the strong. A Poland, where justice and honesty prevail, not cynicism and lies. These are the Polish interests and that is the Poland we want. This has been our dream from the moment we set out on this journey to have power in the country”, added the incumbent president Andrzej Duda.
