This campaign and these elections are about freedom. Freedom, it is also our right, for Poles to decide in which direction we want to develop, Sejm Speaker Elżbieta Witek said in Śrem (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship).
During the meeting with the residents of Śrem, Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek emphasized that this is a special time and these elections are taking place in a special time. She said it is actually the longest election campaign to have ever taken place. “It has been going on for five months, because it really started in February this year. Remember, the elections were to take place in May, I will not go back to why it did not happen, but we actually know that the main reason was the desire to exchange the candidate of the Civic Coalition Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska for Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, ” she added. Witek pointed out that this year’s election is not only about who will be the president of Poland for the next term, but this campaign and these elections are “about freedom for us Poles in a broad sense”.
