The 6th round of the Polish Rally Championship – the Świdnicki Rally

The event was supposed to be held in April, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed until October. There are 2 rallies left until the end of the season. Almost certain of the championship title is Miko Marczyk, who will not appear in Świdnica, though. All because of the start in the European championship Fafe Rally, so the fight for second place in the Polish Rally Championship general classification promises to be very interesting.

On Saturday, at the OSiR Stadium in Świdnica 77 crews will line up at the starting line. Including Orlen Team crew: Kacper Wróblewski and Jakub Wróbel, which is fourth in PRC general classification.

Świdnicki Rally usually takes place in April. It was supposed to happen this year as well, but the pandemic thwarted the organizers’ plans. The event has therefore been moved to October. It was the same last year. The change of season, in which the drivers race, does not significantly affect the specifics of the course. This year’s route of the Świdnik Rally is almost 110 km long and does not differ much from last year’s route.

The Świdnicki Rally starts on Saturday at 2:30 PM. Before that, the drivers will be able to drive a test section, which will take them through the “Walim pans” (the section compared to the frying pan because it is the most serpentine and slippery section of the rally – editor’s note). The event concludes on Sunday afternoon.
