Wednesday’s Nations League match against Belgium in Brussels will be the fourth meeting of the Polish national football team under the coach Czesław Michniewicz. In the last three, the White-Reds remain unbeaten – they won two and drew once.
Michniewicz, 52, took over the Polish national team in January after the Polish Football Association terminated its contract with Portugal’s Paulo Sousa a month earlier.
He made his debut at the end of March in a friendly against Scotland that ended in a 1:1 draw, followed by a 2:0 win over Sweden in a play-off for qualification for the World Cup in Qatar and a 2:1 victory over Wales a week ago to begin Poland’s participation in the third edition of the League of Nations.
