When will students of IV-VIII grades be able to return to school? ‘The most important thing is the life and health of people. The Prime Minister will communicate this decision in the upcoming days,’ said the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek.
Nearly 99 per cent of elementary schools are operating normally. The turnout of students is over 99 per cent – said the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference, adding:
‘School principals can still organize individual consultations for students of eighth grade or senior year. This is in accordance with the law. Consultations for students facing exams can be arranged in small groups with a sanitary regime.’
Minister Czarnek also reminded that vocational schools could conduct practical classes and sports classes in schools (not only in Sports Championship Schools) could also realize their sports activities in a stationary form. However, he did not reveal when the senior students will return to schools.
‘We are preparing guidelines for grades IV-VIII. However, the decision on further steps, the possible return to schools in other classes, depends on the dynamics of the coronavirus pandemic. The most important thing is the life and health of people. The Prime Minister will communicate this decision in the coming days,’ he said.
