A tremor occurred today at the Mysłowice-Wesoła mine, leading to one miner being injured and several others evacuating safely. The incident took place in the afternoon at a depth of over 660 meters.
Immediate Response and Injury
There were 14 miners present in the affected area at the time of the tremor. According to initial reports, one miner suffered a head injury and was quickly transported to the hospital after receiving first aid on site.
The remaining miners managed to withdraw from the danger zone on their own. Currently, they are making their way to the surface, and no further injuries have been reported. The situation is being closely monitored by mine safety officials.
