PGE (Polish Energy Group company) has started cooperation with the Kampinos National Park. PGE volunteers planted several dozen trees in the Educational and Museum Center in Granica in the Kampinos National Park.
“We are starting cooperation with one of the oldest national parks in Poland. Our first initiative was planting trees in Kampinos by our Employees – Volunteers and cleaning the area in Granica,” said Wojciech Dąbrowski, head of the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna (Polish Energy Group).
The cooperation provides for the implementation of projects to protect the heritage of the Park and educational activities promoting the natural, landscape, and historical values of Kampinos. Among them will be, among others, maintenance of tourist infrastructure, renovation of fences in III Tysiąclecia Avenue in Granica, or renovation of information boards in the car park.
Since 2020, as part of the “Lasy Pełne Energii” (Forests Full of Energy) project, PGE Group also cooperates with national parks. Educational, research, and protection and photovoltaic projects, as well as fauna and flora protection projects, are implemented in the Biebrza National Park, Świętokrzyski National Park, Roztoczański National Park, and Kampinos National Park.
