    Patriot air defence systems relocated to Warsaw for instruction

    Mariusz Blaszczak, the defence minister, declared on Twitter that Patriot missile launchers would be used in Bemowo airport, Warsaw, for the training of the 3rd Warsaw Air Defence Missile Brigade.

    The tweet was accompanied by photographs demonstrating the launchers being transported.

    The Polish Patriot launchers are being transported from Sochaczew to the airfield in Bemowo, Warsaw, as a part of the instruction of the 3rd Warsaw Air Defence Missile Brigade, the post read.

    The MIM-104 Patriot, created by the American firm Raytheon, is an anti-aircraft missile system that forms a component of the ‘Wisla’ medium-range air-defence system of Poland.
