Polish volleyball team triumphed over Cuba with a commanding 3-0 victory (25:17, 25:20, 25:20) in the final match of the intercontinental phase of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). This victory marks Poland’s tenth win under the leadership of coach Nikola Grbić.
Although the outcome held no significant implications for Poland, as they had already secured Olympic qualification last year and their spot in the VNL finals as hosts, the match showcased the team’s consistent performance and readiness for the upcoming finals in Łódź, scheduled from June 27-30.
Line-ups
The Polish team featured Mateusz Bieniek, Tomasz Fornal, Norbert Huber, Marcin Janusz, Bartosz Kurek, Wilfredo Leon, and Paweł Zatorski (libero), with Bartłomiej Bołądź and Grzegorz Łomacz also playing key roles.
