The Polish volleyball team celebrated a significant triumph by securing the bronze medal in the Nations League after a decisive victory over Slovenia. Despite a narrow loss to France in a thrilling semifinal that went to a tie-break, Poland’s players regrouped and dominated the third-place match in Łódź’s Atlas Arena.

Head coach Nikola Grbić fielded a strong lineup, including Bartosz Kurek and Wilfredo Leon. The match started evenly, with both teams exchanging points. However, Poland’s resilience and strategic plays, such as Kurek’s powerful serves and Leon’s blocking, led to a 26-24 win in the first set.
Poland continued their momentum in the second set, quickly establishing a lead and maintaining it through consistent serves and blocks. The set ended 25-16, showcasing Poland’s dominance. In the third set, Poland’s aggressive serving and solid defense allowed them to pull ahead early and maintain a substantial lead, concluding with a 25-17 victory.
