Yesterday in Warsaw, during Taylor Swift’s concert, fans paid homage to the Warsaw Uprising heroes. Music ceased as the clock struck 5 PM, and a flag was displayed on the screens. Simultaneously, the Warsaw Uprising March commenced from the city center with Polish flags and red-and-white flares.

    An Unforgettable Tribute

The first fans who secured tickets for Swift’s three shows arrived in Warsaw. She will perform at PGE Narodowy on August 1, 2, and 3, as part of her “The Eras Tour” in Europe. Each concert is expected to draw about 66,000 attendees.

    A Moment of Silence

At precisely 17:00, the city paused for a minute of silence to honor the Warsaw Uprising’s 80th anniversary. The Warsaw Uprising March, organized by patriotic and national groups, began shortly after. Fans entering the stadium and those on the closed Poniatowski Bridge stopped to observe the tribute.

    Unity Through Music

Music halted inside the stadium, and Polish flags appeared on the big screens. Polish fans immediately explained the significance of the sirens to international attendees, ensuring a moment of shared respect and understanding.
