    Poland – Andorra match today!

On Friday evening, the Polish footballers will play their penultimate match in the group stage of the World Cup qualification against Andorra. The victory will probably ensure the red and white team’s participation in the two-stage playoffs for the Qatar World Cup. The match starts at 8.45 PM.

Poland is second in Group I with 17 points, and the first is an unbeaten England team that has three more. The leader is rather out of reach, as it is difficult to assume that England will lose points in the meetings with Albania and San Marino.

The players have to look behind because Albania with 15 points is lurking in second place, prequalified for promotion to the March playoffs. The fourth position with 11 points is occupied by Hungary, already practically without any chances of appearing in the spring.

Albania, like Poland, will also play against Andorra, but first, its rival will be England. If they lose or draw at Wembley, and the red and white beat Andorra, then they will be sure of at least second place in the table, regardless of the result of the meeting with Hungary in Warsaw in the last round.

Matty Cash, who was granted Polish citizenship at the end of October, is expected to help Poland in its successes. The Aston Villa side defender was almost immediately called up to the national team by Sousa.
